Like doctor strange’s dark dimension,phones too have an amazing dark dimension. With a variety of reasons regarding health and aesthetics, the Dark mode Is the rage on all kinds of phones. But the invariable question remains, is the Dark mode much like Dormammu, who wont bargain with the user, or is it the super cool hero we all have been waiting for? In this case, we can definitely say it’s the latter. The more important questions all the users need answered is simply which Dark mode is better and more worth it?

First let’s compare ease lf access to the Dark mode. It has to consider the first factor to be accessibility and enabling to analyze which one is more accessible. In case of Android Q, enabling dark mode on Q is super simple. Similarly, to enable dark mode in iOS 13, select settings – display and brightness – select dark. Other way to do this is by selecting control center – 3D touch on brightness – appearance. You can switch between dark and light here. Looking at options across both the OS’s, it’s quite clear that enabling dark mode on Android Q is a tad bit simpler as compared to enabling it on iOS 13. So here the points go to Android Q. However either ways, they are not as complicated as the rest.

So why do we want the dark mode? Simple, it’s got some really amazing benefits. Starting from less eye strain to a very groovy super cool look, the Dark mode makes even a cheap phone look classy.  But how do these modes differ in appearance on iOS 13 and Android Q? In case of Android Q, dark mode is all over, almost everywhere. This makes it great option for power conservation and the overall aesthetic. However, in Android Q, the text is slightly off white which reduces the overall readability. In iOS 13, the colors look just the right amount of bright with a perfect balance of contrast. The overall text appears white, giving it a much more vivid look. So, yes, iOS 13 dark mode wins in terms of overall design.

As you can see, there are many other details which would surely help us focus on which one we want. But in the end , it is still an subjective choice. So while my bet is on iOS 13, I am sure many of you would like Android Q as well! So go ahead and experience it, because how else would you understand it?
