The Prime Minister has made quite a lot of cards compulsory – the Adhaar was the starting point. He has yet again launched another card, which is the One Nation One Card in Ahmedabad. The National Common Mobility Card is completely made in India, and is an amalgamation of the existing smart cards. People can now withdraw money, shop, pay toll taxes, travel, pay parking fare, and more. This card will be accessible in any part of India, be it a rural side, or even a modern city.
This card will be the one time currency that will help you to move around cashless. Sometimes we do not have the exact changes to pay to the travel sector, or food sector, but with this card, all of that gets solved. All the new credits and debits that will be issued by the people will have this One Nation One Card feature – so that all money transactions can be centralised to one. There will be seamless connection, easy travel, quick pay and more.
The fathers of this card have mentioned that a lot of hard work and research has gone into this. Delhi meanwhile has also started a run of the Automatic Fare Collection counters where these cards will be valid. As soon as the testing will be done, the existing old systems will be removed, and the new ones will adapt itself into the structure.
