The budget has just been finalized, and IAF now is working on the shelved project that is worth approximately 1.5 lakh crore. Sources have reported that the IAF will be receiving the first 4 Rafale fighters under the total of 59000 crores. Sources have made it clear that India requires at least 42 planes, while it is now running short, and has only 30.
The 36 sets of Rafale are to be delivered to India by the time frame of September 2019 to April 2022, and there will be training and sessions that will ensure thereafter.
Meanwhile the Indian private sector is making an entry into the aerospace regime. In a time frame of 8 years, India will be building the remaining 40 aircrafts. With the Make In India soaring high, India is finally going to enter the much revered domain.
