Finance serve Arun Jaitley wrote to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on wednesday saying he would not like to be a piece of the new government attributable to health reasons.

After being a part of the NDA government on two separate occasions, BJP leader and former minister  ArunJaitley informed the prime Minister that he wouldn’t be able to join the new government citing poor health. “I am keeping in touch with you to formally request you that I ought to be permitted a sensible time for myself, my treatment and my wellbeing and along these lines, not be a piece of any duty, for the present, in the new government,” Jaitley, 66, kept in touch with the PM. The former minister later tweeted out the letter. Jaitley had been admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences a week ago to experience tests and treatment for an undisclosed disease and was released on Thursday, the day the election results were declared. He didn’t go to the festivals at BJP base camp that night after its avalanche wins — 303 seats out of 542.

In his letter, Jaitley said he has confronted “some genuine” wellbeing challenges in the course of recent months. He also said in the letter that he had passed on his choice to Modi after the finish of the battle for the general elections when the PM was leaving for Kedarnath.

“I had orally informed you that despite the fact that I had the option to release my duties doled out to me amid the election, I would in future try, for quite a while, as to avoid any duty. This will empower me to focus on my treatment and wellbeing. The BJP and NDA, under your authority, have verified a stupendous success.”

The leader said it was an amazing privilege and a learning knowledge to have been a piece of the administration headed by Modi. “Much prior, the gathering had favored me with obligations in the first NDA government, in the gathering association, and furthermore while we were in the restriction. I couldn’t have requested more,” Jaitley said.In the most recent five years, the BJP has stepped toward achieving a generational move in the gathering, which is probably going to be reflected in the new committee present in the cabinet.

Aside from Rajnath Singh and NitinGadkari, most NDA ministers in the past government were a part of the new age of pioneers. “A generational move is a need for every single ideological group and, on the off chance that an ideological group does not perceive this reality, at that point it quits developing. Because senior pioneers are not part of the administration or don’t get decision tickets, it doesn’t imply that they can’t work for the development of the gathering,” said a senior BJP individual from Parliament.ArunJaitley had been one of the most impressive guiding lights for the NDA government and his presence in the cabinet meetings would definitely be missed.
