Fancy 5 Star Charges 400 Rupees For Only Bananas To Rahul Bose!

We all have had silly and funny stories about how high and fancy hotels just serve you the same thing at more cost.  But one hotel crossed the line and made such a luxurious charge on a common place item that it made everyone go bonkers. And the victim on the other side was none other than veteran actor Rahul Bose. He learnt the hard way of the real meaning of luxury and shared his experience with his classic wit on Twitter.

The actor is currently shooting in Chandigarh and is staying at a property of a high-end hotel chain. While working out at the gym, he ordered 2 bananas and the bill he got is absurd.

He got charged Rs 442 for 2 bananas, GST included. And these bananas were very ordinary bananas. This left the internet up going totally bananas over this!

He turned to Twitter where he posted a video sharing his experience with ‘luxury’, questioning the idea behind charging such exorbitant prices for something that is really quite cheap – all because you are staying at a fancy hotel. After all, it’s one thing to charge something for food cooked by a chef. But how will overcharging these ordinary bananas help the hotel business? That is one question Twitter is really trying to answer.
