MS Dhoni has begun with his two month training with the Indian Army Parachute Regiment. It is being speculated that he has recently retired from his career in cricket, and has joined a battalion which has its headquarters in Bengaluru.
Dhoni’s love for the country is well known, he always wanted to be a part of regiment and serve the country. Now that his duty as a cricketer is done with, he has taken the major responsibility to join cricket. Dhoni wants the youth to be aware of the armed forces and the role they play in protecting our Nation.
This 38 year old had been awarded an honorary Lieutenant Colonel rank and today Dhoni wants to hold true to his title. In the work front, the cricketer is still kept on hold, as they groom Rishab Pant with an aim toward the World T20 in Australia. Meanwhile the Ranchi star Dhoni’s spirit is to be lauded – such a noble decision for the Nation is always welcome.
