Your lifestyle is your way of life – you have been living it every single day. Of course, to unlearn something that has been a regular habit, it will be extremely difficult. It would almost be like stripping off skin from your flesh, painful and a voluntary practice.

No one should say it’s easy – it would be absolutely difficult to move towards the path of change. Getting a commitment to move towards a healthier life and keeping to the commitment can be a life changing decision, and definitely the most difficult one. Committing to a step one at a time will be intensive, and difficult, it might become easier if you start visualizing the benefits.

These may motivate you for the change that is much needed:

  1. Initially you will fail: There is nothing to be flustered, you will initially not be able to take over goals. Expect betterment with regular practice.
  2. Closing all exits: Convince yourself that there is no route out. Do not coax yourself into breaking your commitment.
  3. Your routine has to be in scrutiny: when you sleep, what you eat, when you eat, are all parameters that you need to be careful of. You cannot be living in absolute stress and expect a change in lifestyle.
  4. Believe: start believing in the change that you want and you will see that the results are very effective. You need to reassert yourself that your body is ready for the change that you are about to accomplish.
  5. Stocking healthy food: You might have been a binge eater in the past, but you need to start giving up on that. Consume and stock healthy food only, and keep your appetite healthy.
  6. Exercising daily: this is a habit that you need to willingly inculcate in your schedule. Without exercising daily, your body will not be able to shed off the excess toxins that you have already accumulated.
