Rishi Kapoor

Rishi Kapoor was an amazing actor with grace. He was one of the superhit stars of the 70s and 80s. He had made his name as the handsome romantic hero in many fms. As an adult, his first lead role was opposite Dimple Kapadia in the teen romance Bobby (1973), which won him the Filmfare Award for Best Actor. Between 1973 and 2000, Kapoor starred as the romantic lead in 92 films. Some of his notable films during this period include Khel Khel Mein (1975), Kabhi Kabhie (1976), Sargam (1979), Karz (1980), and Chandni (1989). He passed away due to complications associated with leukemia.

Pranab Mukherjee

Very few politicians have been as respected as Pranab Mukherjee.  Once the finance minister of India and then subsequently the president, he was an astute political leader and had an elephantine memory. He was a popular leader who commanded respect on both sides of the political spectrum. He passed away to health complications as well this year.
