In a series of tweets and videos former actress Mia Khalifa talks of how she managed to earn only $12000 in the adult film industry. According to the Vice, Khalifa is rumoured to work for only three months, but she remains as the most renowned name.
In her tweet she mentioned that people believe she earned a lot, but she chose to reveal the truth. According to her what was scary was not being able to find a decent job. Mia herself states that she was briefly involved with porn, but she is bewildered to see that she is still ranked as number five!
Mia reminisces that her fame grew when she wore a hijab for a scene and then started receiving death threats from ISIS. She was banned from a handful countries too – and her Instagram following grew from 400 to 200,000 in a time span of three days!
After quitting the industry Mia became a sports presenter, and she hopes to do well in this industry.
