Vicky Kaushal who was lauded in his performance in Uri: The Surgical Strike, has again taken up a role in this movie where he is acting as Sam. Completely unrecognizable, he has brought this character to life. This movie will pay a tribute to Field Marshal Sam, and Kaushal has reported that he is extremely grateful to have been handed over this role. Twitter has praised the filmmakers for working hard on the looks of the marshal. 

Uri had made collections of 245 crores, and this movie is expected to have the same impact. The Indian army chief Sam was the leader when India won over Pakistan in 1971. This war saw the birth of Bangladesh.
